Can I still rescue my butterfly palm or is it too far gone? 🥹
Last 2 weeks, I noticed its leaves were dry and are curling so I watered it lots once a week but now the base stem is black so might be a sign of overwatering?
Now, it's now falling down because of the base not being able to support it.
Some leaves are still okay (3rd photo)
This is my first plant and it was gifted to me so not so sure if I under/overwatered, please help.

Need more info, how much light? How often were you watering? What climate do you live in?
If I had to guess, you overwatered. If that’s where the palm lives and it’s getting indirect light, it’s not getting enough sunlight. Palms love light and regular waterings. This guy looks sad and strained.
She cactus bruh
That thing is gone.
I think it’s fixable but I’m not an expert on palms. I would cut back a few leggy/dry leaves so the plant can focus its energy on healthier new growth.Â
