Hello! I’m just starting out with plants so bare with me! I got this cyclamen for Valentine’s Day and I think ive been doing an okay job of taking care of it, but the new leaves coming in have been very textured and some are growing leaves on top of leaves. Does anyone know if it’s dying? Thanks (first photo new leave growth second photo older leaf)
Window is north facing haven’t had problems with this until about two weeks ago .
Only water from underneath never above and pot has drainage. Soil is the same as what I got when I got it from grocery store sorry im a bit nervous to do repotting or resoiling

So the leaflet looks like an abnormal growth (called fasciation), often resulting from a genetic anomaly, but it can also result from environmental stress.
The ’empty’ look of the leaf suggests its environmental stress, usually too much water. The roots need access to air as well as moisture, if they can’t breathe, they can’t move moisture or nutrients to the foliage, so leaves start to look underwatered even though the soil is moist.
To fix the leaf texture, aim for soil around the roots that is consistently damp, like a well squeezed sponge. Don’t water until the top inch of soil is dry, and for bottom watering once you’ve let it soak for 15 mins or so, make sure any excess water has a chance to drain away – you don’t want excess water to hang out inside or under the pot.
You can snip the fasciated leaf off, or leave it alone, as you prefer. Its not going to do any harm.
