Stopped by a local nursery and found this gorgeous sarracenia. I've only bought smaller ones before (think the size you see at big box stores), and combined with the gorgeous rhizome, I caved and bought it on-the-spot. To me, it feels worth the price, but I thought I would ask the experts.
Also, is anyone able to identify what species this may be?
SPECS:
Rhizome = 3.5"-4" long and 3" wide
Pitcher height = 16" – 22"
Pot dimensions = 4" x 6"

Yes, this is a large, multi-growth point Sarracenia. $40 is normal. Maybe a bit expensive without an ID, but still fairly normal.
As the season progresses it might get even taller.
