I’d say keep it. If you know exactly what species it is and know for sure it’s native to your area, still be cautious if you are considering releasing it. It might need to grow up a bit too if you are trying to identify it, it might just be a small species tho. But also, I’d say it could be an enjoyable little fella to watch go around and grow and stuff. you could feed it and stuff if your plants are really suffering btw. Could be considered a pet now 🥰.
(Also, what species is that fern-like plant in the back of the wood? 👀)
