My calatheas smaller leaves all got floppy stems. Is this dehydration since i had to cut off some slight root rot and didnt water for 2 weeks to let the roots rest . Or are they gonna be absorbed like some older ones get.
The top soil on the last picture looks quite dry, you can probably give her some water again (always fully water thoroughly and then let it mostly dry/the top few 2-3cm dry). Do the finger into soil test or lift the pot to gauge the weight test. The lowest leaves or the smallest ones are usually the oldest leaves so it’s normal for them to be abandoned first. Cutting roots is stressful for the plant, and it needs enough roots to suport all that foliage. So cut roots makes the plant more likely to abandon some of its (older) foliage to get some nutrients back or to balance roots/foliage again. As long as it doesn’t affect the other leaves it should be nothing to worry about.
Never let it sit in water. In one picture it looks like the inner pot doesn’t fit the outer pot: It closes the outer pot like a lid, there is no way for air to circulate at the border between the inner & outer pot – thus not really any air circulation that can enter the bottom holes of the inner pot. Usually you want a bit of wiggle room between the inner and outer pot so air/water can exchange and evaporate from the bottom holes of the inner pot. This helps prevent root rot. Otherwise the stagnant and humid air inside the pot is perfect for rot/mold.

Looks dry how do she feels inside the soil [ finger]

These guys also love humidity. If you can, keep her near a humidifier or spritz her with a water bottle daily.

I would size her pot up two inches she’s big enough to get some more space to grow and less watering 👏🏽 im sure she’s drying out quicker every time you water
