This morning, an eastern carpenter bee appeared in my indoor greenhouse. This was quite odd, because my plants have been indoors for 6 months and there is no possible way for an insect this large to somehow find its way through two basement doors and into the greenhouse without me noticing.
About 4 hours after I released the first one, a second one appears. I have absolutely no idea where they came from. I will have to do a thorough search of my pots to make sure I didn’t bring a dormant nest into my house.

Those are my favourite Hoya, also, bees!
It probably tastes like the most incredible delicacy to them!
Life uh… finds a way!
Sincerely though, is there any more joyful sight than a bee absolutely cramming themselves headfirst into a flower you’ve grown? So cute!
Maybe you’ll get pollination!
