I found this broken cactus on the street. What kind is it? Google image search says prickly pear but I feel like it doesn’t totally match that. It Can it be replanted and grow?
Sure. Jest let it to dry for a month or so before planting. Should be opuntia monacantha.

This is a species of optunia. I personally do not know which. But I can gaurantee that can be replanted. Just half bury it in good substrate and those thing are hard to stop rooting.

Not a common prickly pear but it is an opuntia, same family. Not going to be as cold hardy as eastern prickly pear.

Yes but those blooms probably won’t make it

Let it sit on a pot of soil in full sun, and it’ll callous and root so fast.

it’s an Opuntia, a prickly Pear
remove all flowers, twist and they will come off…. this puts ALL the energy into roots instead of wasting it on flowers and fruit.
In shade, let is set for 7-10 days upright to callous (let cut wound heal, prevents rot later on)
After plant in in well draining soil….. maybe 2 inches down, prop up with stick or rocks.. do not water for another 2 weeks, keep in shade bright light.
after 2-3 weeks water it and forget about if for 3 weeks or so
