Do you have a dog thats in that spot? If no, then it looks like youre compacted soil there. Dig the soil a bit – throw some topsoil,
Drop a good cool season seed and cover with straw…keep it moist you should be all set. If the grass doesnt take have the soil tested. Good luck!
