As the title says. I have thought about flowers but this edge along the fence gets absolutely no sun all day with the angle off the houses and the fence. Is there a low maintenance plant that would suit or would I be better off edging it with mulch ?

Sick of seeing the AI generated gardens so wanted a real life answer. Cheers

You could plant a row of something like a griselina hedge. Low maintenance, very resilient and fast growing. Evergreen for year round greenery.

Grassss, Japanese maples, skimmia, azaleas, rhododendrons.
There’s a vast array of plants that like shade

That’s where I’d put my shed, my bins, and my compost bays!

Yew and holly are evergreen, native hedges with red berries in august and november respectively (not edible, but good for colour). They are low maintenance as long as you prune them
