always been negligent with plants so stopped getting them. This one I got gifted and is special to me, so I have been trying to follow the various types of advice on the internet.
A) Just found this sub and read the wiki. I had been worried about the leaf drooping so I watered it with a lot infrequently in the past, throwing out the excess (but still probably within the recommended limits of the wiki). Now I am not sure to be honest, is one leaf like that being droopy normal?
B) Also been wanting to let the plant sprout from the other side of the stem so turned it around the last weeks, which led to it growing around the stem. Realized I probably need to make an incision for it to bud lol. But the stem seems dead, I had it given to me like that and thought it would kind of fill with life as the weeks wnt on, but it didn't. If it's time to cut, where should I do it and how do I makes ure the leaves grow all around, no just on one side?
C) I have removed the stick shoen in the later pictures becquse I thought it hindered the plant more than helped, was it warranted?
I'd really appreciate you guys helping out, I really care about this plant.

These don’t need to be watered as much as you would think tbh. Some leaves drooping in my experience is normal, at least older ones but it may also be it’s not getting enough light or nutrients. They love lots of lights.
Also, yes removing the stick was the right move. Again, in my experience, using a brace will encourage the stem to not grow as strong snd thick as it should as it will start relying on that for support instead of itself as it naturally does.
That top portion of stem def seems dead to me but hopefully someone else can chime in and give you some better advice with how to proceed.
