The pressure washer has mixed reviews but some shoppers were seriously impressed

Spring is here and that means it could be a good time to get your garden and patio spruced up, ready to enjoy some sun. For those looking to clean up their outside space on a budget, B&Q is currently selling a £29 pressure washer which shoppers have called “excellent” and “amazing”.
The Auto-stop Pressure washer Corded 100bar 1.4kW can be seen on the B&Q website and is described as a “great light weight pressure washer ideal for most medium duty tasks.”
The pressure washer comes with an extension lance and an adjustable nozzle, for completing a range of tasks. It has a maximum operating temperature of 51C.

The hose length three metres while the pressure washer itself measures around 45cm (height) and it weighs 5.61kg.
However, while some shoppers have raved about the pressure washer calling it “amazing” and a substitute for more expensive brands, it has received very mixed reviews.
Many customers found it effective for cleaning outdoor surfaces and good value for the price, praising its ease of use and performance.
One shopper said: “Excellent product, bought exactly the same model 20 years ago, and used it about six times a year. Eventually packed up so replaced with a Karcher 2, which was nowhere near as good, so when saw at B&Q it was a must get. Don’t waste your money on big brand names, this is excellent”.

Another said: “I bought this after reading the reviews and wanting a pressure washer to clean our cars and patio. I was surprised at the power, pressure and how easy it was use and assemble. Amazing little pressure washer that we have used multiple times already since purchase. 100% recommend!”
However, a significant number reported issues with the product failing after limited use, problems with the hose and connections, and lack of durability.
One said: “Bought this to clean car and patio. Switched it on and cleaned two paving slabs before it failed. Motor started pulsing and then stopped working. I shall be exchanging it for a better one!”
Another said: “I purchased this product just over a year ago and have used it just three times due to the hosepipe ban and it has stopped working completely. Motor barely even attempting to tick over”.
A third said: “Good for basic jobs but not as powerful as I would like”.
