Patch plants had messaged me that I had won the first prize in their IG competition and I was expecting much smaller plants and pots.
Well, yesterday they were delivered, couldn’t believe what the delivery man was carrying up the 50 stairs to my flat. He had to go four times, my dog and me were soon boxed in.🤣
Anyway, the plants are enormous and the decorative pots very big. I’m still trying to figure out where they are all going. I have two balconies but here in the UK we have some frost some winters.
So, this is my first monstera! I always wanted one but never dared.
I’m overjoyed but also a bit afraid because I just won a long battle with the terrible fungus gnats.

Congratulations! That’s the type of prize I like to see. The plants look great. I love how the dog is looking at all the boxes surrounding them.
