I had a bit of an urge to buy a plant during work (the adhd mind at its finest) and went to Walmart when i clocked off to see what wallet friendly plants I could find. I have one star cactus succulent and it’s doing well but Im feeling the itch for more lately. In my search, I decided some flowers that would do well on my mostly indirect sunlight side yard/patio thingy would be a good idea. So as I looked through my options I made sure to search up each flowers needs, and asked google but just read the first response for sale of time, and you know how AI can be. So I wanted to double check with (hopefully) some experts. I got a fuchsia and 8 individual multicolored periwinkles (labeled Vinca). I was looking for a pot for the fuchsia and a couple smaller ones to plant a few of each periwinkle together, but ended up finding this 16 inch plastic pot and thought they would look cute together with the periwinkles around the fuchsia. So I buy everything I need (potting mix, gloves, a lil shovel and cute strawberry watering can lol, and obviously the pot and plants), get home and get to potting. I get the fuchsia out of the plastic nursery pot thing and it’s so root bound (as little as I know about plants I do know Walmart stays not taking care of their plants they sell, that’s why there’s no fish now lmao). As I’m adding the periwinkles into the pot around the fuchsia, my main concern has become that there’s not enough room for the plants let alone the roots that fuchsia has going on but I do still want to double check they are good in the same pot together in general with sunlight and watering needs. They seemed to have similar needs based on quick searches while shopping still. Am I overthinking because of my gardening wine or are they gonna be okay? (Pic included. It seems cramped but not sure how much everything will end up growing. And I got the app Planta to keep up with things. From what I could tell the fuchsia needs to be kept a bit more moist but it was DRY at Walmart and not too too bad sans the rootboundness).

TLDR: I bought a fuchsia and 8 periwinkle (vinca) and put them in a 16in plastic pot on my mostly idirecy sunlight patio/sideyard. They good?

Edit: there is a decent amount of space UNDER all of the plants
