Gardeners are praising a robotic lawnmower that can not only help significantly cut down how long it takes to clean up your lawn, but also ‘save hundreds’ on getting outside help. Better yet, Amazon is currently offering the automated tool at a major discount, helping shoppers save £200 right off the bat.
The Flymo EasiLife GO 400 can be grabbed at a 40% discount, dropping from £499.99 to £299 for a limited time. These extra savings will give you access to a quiet little machine designed to keep your grass trimmed with minimal effort on your part.
The Flymo EasiLife GO 400 does this with its pre-equipped triple-blade cutting system that can cut grass on lawns up to 400m2. It is also packed with extra functions to adapt to changing conditions, including an automatic schedule that can change based on the weather.

It is also built with ease of use in mind, with no screens or complex programming. Instead, it features LED indicators and a Bluetooth companion app that let you control the robot from your smart device.
Unlike more traditional lawnmowers, the Flymo EasiLife GO 400 operates at low noise levels of 58dB, ensuring that you and your neighbours aren’t disturbed while work is being carried out on your lawn. The included intelligent guide wire also helps you program the Flymo to stay within the confines of your lawn, stopping it from going anywhere it’s not supposed to, such as flower beds.
If you want something a bit different, you could instead opt for the Segway Navimow i105E Robotic lawnmower, which is currently the number one best seller on Amazon. Discounted from £699 to £599, this lawnmower comes with AI automatic mapping, allowing it to be programmed to wherever you want on your lawn without needing any additional wires or physical barriers.

If you would prefer to spend a bit less on a robotic lawnmower, you could instead opt for the Bosch Cordless Robot Lawn Mower, which is reduced on Amazon from £349.95 to £279.49. This lawnmower is suitable for lawns up to 100m2 and has a three-button setup for quick starts.
Or at Argos, the LawnMaster 16cm Cordless Robotic Lawnmower – 24V is £300. While this one isn’t reduced, it’s got a near-perfect five-star rating from shoppers.
Customers who previously bought the Flymo robot lawnmower praised it for its functionality and convenience, with one customer writing: “I really loved the idea of having all my mundane tasks automated / taken care of with a robot and this flymo had really covered the mundane bit! Installing the guide wire honestly had taken every ounce of effort I had, it had been a tedious but very important task.

“This essentially prepares the robot to stay within and also find its way back to the docking station. I have set the robot to max 3 times a week and it is smart enough to know how the grass height, if there is frost on the ground and if it is raining.
“The app is quite a basic one, but its recent update allows better control. The robot can have its software updated using a USB-A to USB-B cable, which I try to do once a year. I also have switched the blades a few times, which can be done with a screwdriver, super easy!”
Another added: “As a disabled woman with a huge, odd-shaped, lumpy, bumpy garden, I spend hundreds each year on gardeners. Not any more!! It took 4 hours to fit the wires, and a couple of attempts to get it to calibrate, and it was trundling around the garden.
“My dog and kittens just ignore it and move out of the way when needed. It moves slowly enough to prevent any accidents. From the house, it can’t be heard at all. I let it run overnight without issue, or sound, (I live in a bungalow with bedroom at back) and woke to a nicely mown lawn. It was first cut of year and long and thick in places, I thought it might need one last cut from the gardener, I was wrong, this little bot coped with it brilliantly.

“As lawn is so bumpy, I had to put the pegs in very close together in some places, which meant that the 150 supplied weren’t enough and had to buy more. Thats the only downside I have so far. My big tip is, set it at the highest cut to start, and you shouldn’t have any issues if have laid the wire tight and level to ground.
“If your still on the fence, trust me this little robot really is as good as the reviews suggest.”
Some customers did experience issues, though, with one writing: “This machine does the job and works with the existing boundary and guide ware. I feel that it’s not as good as my previous machine a Flymo 1200R mower, which had a software problem. The drive wheels are too close to the chassis and require frequent cleaning.

“The cutting height is not as easy to adjust, requires 3 screws to be undone, and the plate move and screws are reinserted. I also find the use of an app not as convenient; it was problematic on my iPhone 11 but worked fine on my wife’s Android phone.”
Another added: “There are periods when it just doesn’t work and it is very time-consuming to resolve. For example, it decided not to dock properly during most of August.
“Having got that out of it’s system, it’s not gone out for any of the last three days despite showing no errors and having a factory reset. Because the app is limited, you have to try and sort it out on the fairly basic and not very intuitive interface on the unit itself.
“Which takes a lot of time. Plus, of course, if it misses a few days, then the lawn looks rubbish and you have to mow manually or wait for it to catch up. It worked really well in June and July but I would not recommend these as they take a lot of time to manage. I work from home so am able to spot when it’s playing up, but this is a luxury others might not have.”
