Not sure I understand the glue and silicone. How will you clean the pump ? In Alabama we have lime in our water and it builds up over time, so does mold and slime. I mean, I guess the water seeps in around the power cord? đ€
Itâs a great DIY, but it doesnât look natural looking. It needs natural 2 to 3 feet native plants from the back and sides and small plants in the front. I would camouflage the entire fountain, so you still hear the running water and make it into a bird bath too.
Add some Peace Lilies to your fountain for more interest and color. If you are really adventurous, you can put a few goldfish in your fountain as well.
Thatâs also a great idea for a water dish for cats and dogs if you donât seal it permanently and are able to wash around the pump and clearly donât use rocks and things that some animals can clearly accidentally swallow but with the price of some of those water dishes and how boring or even child toy like some look I think you could get really creative and have lots of fun making one for your household pet of any size!!!
It's a NO for me First, You sealed that pump under that pot and you may need to get to it to clean it. Then the bright colored plastics just don't look natural with a fountain. That's something I would want sitting around. I have made several fountains using Dollar tree stuff but not like that.
I would use 2 terracotta pots. In hopes it would hold the pump down and can still get to it. I would try some bamboo rods and glue to the outside of the bottom container, then glue some moss on the top container inside and out.
The idea is a good one but i think you can make it look much cutter with some imagination. Good luck

Paint it all with a stone finish paint, that will help.

Maybe if you had painted it some different color. Concept is good. P

That cheap plastic won't last a year outside.
I like it, but I couldnât sit around where it is because I would have to go pee all the time. LoL
Lots of cheap plastic. It may not hold up to uv exposure long.
No.

I donât care for the look of it. I do like the sound of the water. If you could hide it in the bushes or somethingâŠ
Cute⊠right up to the point where the birds poo đ© in it and it needs to be disassembled and cleaned.

It's a no go for me. One, it's not that attractive. Two, you can't access the pump.
Yesđ

I think itâs a great idea, good job! And others can make small changes to fit their own style if they want.

I think I would spray with a with a stone effect paint . Good idea for an affordable water feature thoughđ
no. who needs more plastic in their lives
Honestly if you make more little holes closer to the top then you can attach some mini American flags to it with zip ties đșđžđșđžđșđž â€
No, looks cheap.
