New England. Any idea what could dig this hole in lawn. It’s ~ 2” in diameter and quite deep. I put a hose in it and ran water for over 5 minutes and it never filled up.

Is the solution to fill it back in? Stick a water hose in the hole and flood it? I’m curious.

I don’t know but do not put your dick in that hole.

It’s a chipmunk. Have several in my yard, also in New England, and was confused until I saw one dive right in.

13 lined ground squirrel if in Midwest. They make clean holes just like this

Wait until one day you find a hole like that and it’s hornets.

Just run some propane in there for a minute, toss a cigarette butt in there and call it a day
