Love what you are trying to do. I think this year I’d focus on making some borders so it looks less like an overgrown mess and more initial wildflower meadow.
Even keeping a mower path through the meadow that people could walk in (like during lunch break) to observe pollinators would make it look more intentional.

Absolutely over the moon about the recent commercial landscaping popping up on this sub!!!! This is amazingly fabulous!
I do agree about maybe mowing a perimeter edge, even just ~1ft like a frame would do a ton of heavy lifting here, maybe a walking path through it that cuts across sidewalk and links both though honestly if there are no complaints or concerns I think its perfevt as-is
