Bought this house back in April last year and have neglected this pile of leaves the previous owners left from the massive oak above it. Started clearing the nettles today and realised this is most likely leaf mould? Theres… so much! I want to reclaim this space but have no idea what to do with this, it seems to be thriving given how many acorns seem to have sprouted, so i imagine clearing/moving this lot is going to be effort 😅 any advice?

Use the pallets to make a diy compost bin, plenty of how to vids on YouTube. Fill it with as much as you can. Use the most decomposed leaves at the bottom of the remaining heap as mulch in your borders.
Little kitchen garden maybe?
Compost is broken down using bacteria. Autumn leaves are broken down by fungi. If that’s all leaf mold it’s not a great source of fertiliser but is a marvellous soil conditioner. Worth its weight in gold to mix through beds or as a mulch. Don’t waste it whatever you do.
Maybe sell/give away the little oak saplings (or even a bit or guerrilla gardening!), shame to just chuck them.
