Is it normal to find so many random tomato seedlings in my tomato pot plant and in surrounding pots? I've found at least 6 so far and have moved these into their own pots.
All I can think of is maybe this is because of my worm castings? Although I don't remember seeing any seeds. Maybe some of the suckers that have fallen have created new plants?
At the end of the day I'm not complaining, just curious. Love me some free plants!!

Yes, tomato seeds are very hardy and will survive composting
I call these volunteers in my garden!
My mate worked for the Watercorp, he said the amount of tomatoes near the sewerage works was testament to their survivability
