I’ve been growing my silver dragon corms to the point where they’re getting a bit big for their dome enclosures, does anyone have any advice for acclimating them or for making a bigger humidity dome? My house isn’t as humid as they like it to be so every time I give them air, they start drooping. I always mist them and have a humidifier next to them but I’m not totally sure what my next steps should be. Any advice would be much appreciated!!

Next step is either one of them there ikea cabinets with some modifications for humidity and stuff or you can just take the domes off for a set amount of time each day for like a week to a week and a half ish.

I’ve been doing my research since I got my PBV. Humidity in my apartment stays between 30-50 and only goes up when it rains or after a shower for a short while lol.

There’s also putting some plants together depending on what you’ve got and how big they are. The plants themselves can create/generate their own mini humid ecosystem. I haven’t quite figured this out yet myself though 😅

ambient humidity at my house is around 50%.

I take them straight from the humidity dome to the window sill.

as long as the roots have moisture it doesn’t seem to make a difference.
