These pretty purple flowers grow in the backyard every year. but they all get destroyed when the grass is cut. I wish there was a way to save them.

The gold dandelions and these purple flowers add some color to the otherwise dull neighborhood with flat grass and dull colored houses. This is in western New York for those who’d like to know.

Just from what I can see, the little purple ones look like creeping Charlie which unfortunately are very invasive- yet pretty!

No need to save Creeping Charlie, that’s for sure.

I hate creeping Charlie. It gets everywhere, and doesn’t provide sustenance for the bees. We also have a ton of English ivy that needs to go!
