I got this one at lowes in the clearance section, it was with another in the pot, so I split it up. Maybe it has to do with where it is in my house (a NW facing window as opposed to the other one in a SE window doing more "normal"), but it is growing too fast for its own good. I've had to pop the last three or four leaves out because they are all having new growth coming out before they can make it out naturally. You can see the stem of a new leaf already curling out of the leaf that still hasn't unfurled in the second pic. Like, girl chill.

You should probably give leaves a little more time to break free and unfurl on their own. Rarely do I have to assist leaves on philodendrons. And I have a few fast-growing ones.
