COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – There are some apps available to help you learn about the best times and how much to water your lawn.
Stephen Brueggerhoff with Texas A&M AgriLife says he uses two: Water My Yard, which is from Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, and BV WaterSmart, which is operated in partnership between Texas A&M University, Brazos Valley Groundwater Conservation District, the cities of Bryan and College Station, plus Wickson Creek Special Utility District.
“I participate with both of those and I get great information on when it’s time to water my yard,” said Brueggerhoff.
