1 – Antennaria plantaginifolia (pussytoes) one of my FAVORITES. My 5’ patch is from 3 bareroot plants two years ago. Very easy to pick and spread around.
2 – Phlox sp (back) Geranium maculatum. Bunnies tried really hard the last few years to eat the phlox. But she is here and she smells GREAT.
3 – First blooms on my full shade Polemonium reptans (Jacob’s ladder)!

I’m just over the border in IL and my pussytoes haven’t bloomed. They’ve spread a bit though, so I’ll take that as a win.
My prairie smoke which is right near the pussytoes went absolutely ballistic this year.
Hey, I’m picking up an order for 2 antennaria plantaginifolia tomorrow. Do you mean you waved the seed head around and it spread that way or were you dividing them? They look super cute in your photo. That’s the best picture of them I’ve seen.
I adore the pussy toes. So cute!
oooh those nice little white violets under the jacob’s ladder 🤌🏻 I tried to start some jacob’s this year and nothing came up, I jacked up some of my stratification plans. i’m thinking about chucking all the pots that failed in the fridge for a few weeks and trying again lol
