Anyone knows what happened? Can it be saved?
It has sentimental value and has been happy next to this window and growing strong (for 8 months). No recent fertilizer or watering changes. I evaluate it for watering every Monday, usually my meter identifies it as needing a little weekly.

Have you checked if the soil is bone dry? Like, poke your finger in it.

That’s what calathea do when they fully dry out.

  2. Prayer plants can be extremely dramatic ! Curling leaves are usually a sign of them being thirsty, especially if this just happened overnight. Should go back to normal once you water it.
Tip for next time: put your finger about an inch into the soil. If it feels dry, you should water it. If not, check it again about a day or two later

You don’t water plants a little at a time. You wait for it to need water then you fully drench the water and let the excess drip off out the drainage hole. Probably dry at the bottom of the pot

You need to stop relying on a moisture meter. Those things are dependent on where you stick them in the soil and it’s much simpler to just understand and learn what your plants need. Judging by the look your plant, it needed water 3 days ago.
