Storm blew tree over in southern Wisconsin. I cleaned up the tree but now left with this tilted stump situation. Wondering how to best clean this up. Try to dig it out and maybe it will settle right? Can I lift it back up and dig it out? Do I grind out the stump, dig as much as I can and wait for it to settle?

  1. Get all you heaviest friends to come over and jump up and down on the lifted edge.  ; )

Just water it and tamp it back down with your foot, firmly. 🤝

Hire someone with a stump grinder

Get a shovel, pickaxe, and some Bros to rip that apart. Fill it with soil and seed.

I’d find a neighbor with a front end loader tractor and have them finish uprooting it by pushing it over until it gives way. The fill the hole/scrape with top soil and re-seed or sod over.

Have you tried turning it off and turning it back on again?

Completely remove the stump (tractor, stump grinder, burn it, etc) and then re-sod.
