Put it in a cage
I made a castle for my tree. I even flooded the bottom of the tote with water and set a pot upside down in it to make an ant resistant island
Electric fence!
Option 1: build an aviary for your trees
Option 2: try deterrents like capsaicin, stop putting out birdseed, and cross your fingers
Option 3: remove the squirrels
