For a while my jade plant has been developing brown patches on the undersides of its leaves. I’ve also seen some leaf drop, although not recently. It’s still growing fine but is looking quite poorly. Does anyone know what could be causing this and how to treat it? My money is on some sort of fungus.
For light it’s by a window but also has a grow light for 12 hours. I water quite sparingly, every 1-2 weeks. Potting mix is cactus mix with perlite/gravel. I’m not sure the exact ratio but it drains pretty quickly.

A common problem with cacti and succulents is etiolation. This is when a succulent stretches or becomes leggy. Reply with “!etiolation” for advice.

In my experience with the same type of jade as you, even 1-2 weeks is too often for water. They’re a succulent, they thrive on neglect. I water mine once a month in the summer, and maybe 1-2 times total throughout the winter.
However, I BELIEVE that the brown spots on your jade are scale.
