One week old Cornish cross. This guy has been doing this on and off this afternoon. They have access to lots of crumble, heat lamp, water and grit.

Looks like just plotting world domination no biggie probably start with your garden first tho
Looks like early heart failure, its probably got some water belly going to if you check. Its the nature of the breed unfortunately, they grow quicker than their hearts can support sometimes. It’ll likely get worse over the next couple days until it expires. BUT!, I have seen chicks come out of it, so don’t write it off yet. Well, unless its really struggling then do it a favor and cull.
VetRx in their water has helped with any respiratory issues my flock has had. Also just helps with general flock healthiness. Definitely isolate and observe. Best of luck!
