I picked up a few starts of this plant a year ago from a local, reputable nursery. It was listed as “Hairy Tube Tongue / Gregg’s Tube Tongue” which I thought was weird at the time because it wasn’t what I would describe as hairy-looking. Nonetheless I planted a few around my property and they have done very well. Drought tolerant, evergreen, thrives and blooms these small white flowers spring through fall, and have spread VERY AGGRESSIVELY. I literally have these guys popping up on DG paths, in raised beds, and even in potted plants on the other side of the yard.

The problem, I looked up hairy tube tongue and it looks nothing like this. My plant identification apps say Texas Nightshade ‘Solanum triquetrum’ but I’m not sure that’s accurate either as the flowers are different and it doesn’t fruit.

Hoping somebody here can help me out…
