I assume it's now an office full time and have a hard time believing it would reasonably be rented out.

Looks great till you get fined. Also not good for the environment, I get he’s doing right but all it takes is some bad chemicals to clean the tub and accidentally leave the actuator open and then the neighbors garden is crap

That soap won't clean your clothes.
I'd probably make the default be the line running to the sewer, and have a timed override for the switch, so in case someone forgets or doesn't know your system will be fine.

Additional to your soap adjustments, you want to make sure you don't have a water softener(salt based) plumbed to your shower as well …. Poison Roman style
