So, this is my jar of local lake water that I gathered about a year ago. My plant appears to be mostly dead, but I have a bunch of little dudes swimming around in there. Is there any way I can help the plant, or is it too far gone? If it's too far gone, is there a visible reason? Was there too much water and not enough air? Possibly too much sunlight? Too warm from sitting in the window for so long? There's also a few baby snails in there somewhere.
Edit: Sorry for people who watched with sound, I was microwaving food. 😬

Hmm, ya something is missing or was too much. if your window gets sunlight, it would be a big no no, cuz it typically causes algae that suffocate the real plants, but I don’t even see algae in there.
If it was my jar, I would add a new plant and a couple of snails and some fish flakes and sit back and wait.
