Just added plants today, going to let them grow and monitor for about a month and if all looks well then I’ll add the vampire crabs. Any advice in the meantime? I’m thinking of switching out the uv light for something a little less harsh. I monitor humidity of land sections and temperature of the water section.

Yeah switching the light to a regular white neutral one would be good. The plants won’t grow like this.
Is there even a drainage layer on the right side? I only see leca on the left. Soil is going to be saturated without it. Doesn’t really look like much of any soil at all, which vampire crabs require to burrow.
