Other than the obvious of just attacking this with a strimmers every week. Can anyone make a suggestion as to how I could keep these edges tidy.

Would it look silly if I was to do a single line of blocks around the perimeter?

A row of blocks just moves the edge in a bit.

I assume you mean a row of blocks in the ground? That worked for me in my last house, then you can catch them with the mower.

My only tip is to make sure they are set in enough of a way that won’t let grass/weeds come up between or behind them.

Garden scissors ✂️ mine is same size and takes me 2 mins at the end

Wouldn’t a single like of blocks just create the same problem where the grass meets them?

Would an edging of pebbles or coloured gravel be pointless here? Looks nice in the photos but would like to know if anyone has tried living with it

A single line of blocks is just moving the problem to where the grass grows against the blocks. unless you put the blocks down to soil level on hardcore or even put in sleepers. Some work involved with digging it out and leveling but thats the joys of it. Or get a grass shears, manual or electric, and do all the edges first each time, rake it out over the grass, then cut with lawnmower..
