Can anyone tell me what this snake plant is doing? Specifically the bright green layered spikey things shooting out the sides. I just noticed this a few days ago and I am just really at a loss as to what is going on.

It decided that it is too crowded and started to grow pups at farther distance.
It’s made babies.
Making babies. I had mine do this and I left it in the pot. It grew up and became a second snake plant
