I have 48 tomatoes all receiving basically the same soil, light, water, and air. They get rotated so none of them are stuck in the corner wall or the outer shelf edge the whole time. Everyone is fine except this one. Thoughts? Stem is still firm but she’s just been droopy leafed for some days now.

Unfortunately I would just say that’s the weakling, out of 50plants you’re bound to get one not like the others
lol a bunch of my seedlings look like that. tomatos are dramatic it’s probably fine
I’m having this issue with Cherokee Purples. I have maybe 10-12 varieties of tomatoes, and about a week ago my Ch Pur started doing exactly this.
And likewise, same water, soil, fert, etc.
I’ve pulled/killed 6 plants so far, ALL Ch Purps. Only common element is the seeds.
Some seedlings are like this, some varieties are all like this. This season I had most sorry looking Ida gold, and they still look like ugly duckling outside; others are cosplaying hulk, my black cherries look and act like they’re on steroids
I had one that was like this and I decided to take a gamble and put it in the ground… it perked right up. Verdict is out on how it will produce though
I think this is no roots. Check and get back to us.
Tomatoes can be drama queens. I’ve planted tomatoes that looked much worse and they tend to catch up eventually to the better looking ones.
Some varieties definitely do better than others, I’ve been trying different varieties to see which ones grow the best here in Wisconsin’s northwoods.
Looks like Palemeno is a paste variety from what I could find online. My indeterminate pastes can be dramatic like this and tend to be flopsier than the other varieties. They get the vapours at the first sign of anything like heat or inconsistent watering. Do you have other Palemenos that look happier?
Try putting it in new dry soil. I had to do this with one of mine and it’s fine now
