  2. When grass grows too long, it enters a reproductive phase, producing seed heads. That’s what you are seeing.

    Nothing wrong with it at all. Set your mower on a higher setting and take off 1/3rd of the height or less per mow.

    Tbh that looks like standard red thread, fr. It’s a pretty common fungus in New England around this time of year with all the humidity lol. Usually, it just means your grass is a bit stressed or needs a nitrogen boost, haha it’s not the end of the world but definitely needs attention.
