I have an alocasia in about a foot wide pot. Normally, it has three leaves. Approximately every six months, it puts out a flower and one of its leaves yellows and dies.
Please ignore the dust on it, I clean the leaves at least once a week; we just live downstairs from a very active family.
1) is there a way to prevent this?
2) is this a sign it is time to repot?
3) what is your favorite animal?
