Looks like it’s doing a number on the grass too – did I mix it too strongly/spray too much, or is this a normal reaction for the grass?

Yeah, this is totally normal tbh. Solitaire takes a few days to really show up. It usually turns a purplish or light yellow first before the nutsedge completely crashes. Be patient and definitely don’t mow it yet lol, let it work.

Over-spray is ok.
