Hello everyone! So I have a friend who has this beautiful sanseveria cylindrica and it had this tiny tiny baby coming up from the ground so we decided that I could take it in order to propagate it and have one as well. As a mention, in my friend’s pot only the upper green part was coming out of the soil, but when I removed it from the pot, it came out with a much longer stem and also many roots which is fantastic in my opinion as I was able to put it directly into soil. Now I have this concern as I’m afraid that the underground part was so long that it still comes out of the soil of nursery pot and I’m not sure if this is bad for a snake plant.

No, not now
Snake plants like to be snug so it should be okay for a bit longer. When you do repot it, only go up 1in wider than the root ball, use succulent soil with grit mixed in & make sure it has drainage holes.
