Of all the containers you've ever seen or made yourself, what did the recipe did you like the best? Did this video inspire you in any way to try something new? I'd love to know!💞
How often do you water your vinca and lysimaque because I brought mine into the house last year (under a LED lamp) and I lost them during the winter? I watered them every 12 days.
Thanks for another interesting video.
Good evening Sis! Almost missed you, sitting in chair dozing. Long day animal food trip day, stopped at a new greenhouse bought plants. Came home went out and bought more plants.
Pot A is my favorite , i love dusty miller.
BEAUTIF🪴L‼️
I can't vote for either design until I see the bloom colors. I usually put just one variety of plant to pot. I need to think spiller, thriller, filler.
Those window boxes will be so beautiful when the plants come into bloom ! 🤗
I enjoyed seeing you design them and hearing your thoughts about your designs. 🌿🌸🌿
Looking forward to the updates ! 👍👍👍
I’m your southern neighbor, just north of the cape in MA. This was a great video. I love this idea and I haven’t seen anyone else do anything like it!
How cold does it get in your unheated garage?
Portulaca is a great hanging basket for me here is AL. They can take the heat!! Also celosia, creeping Jenny and DIAMTHUS!! They do so great and just keep coming back year after year! Love them. And I can divide and take cuttings to propagate too.
And I love your dusty miller so much I went and bought some. I’ll be attempting to over winter them. That ass a softness to mixed containers I think. ❤
What concentration of miracle gro do you water the containers with? The inside plants one?
I was under the impression that petunias needed much more growing space than they would get in that size container. I am curious if the type of petunia you pick matters. Could I use a wave petunia in a window box?
I wanted to comment also on how helpful these videos are. I am always so afraid of messing things up and I guess I am not very adventurous lol. But, watching and learning from you is so inspiring! I am just so grateful for you ❤❤❤
Love all your planters, Vita! I haven't put any planters together yet but hope to get started soon. One of my favorite planter ideas includes angelonia, calibrachoa and lamium. I used purple angelonia paired with a salmon colored calibrachoa and the colors contrasted so nicely together. My vote on the window box planters is the ones with two dusty miller plants. I like the silvery blue color of the foliage.
Another GREAT video! I too love the chive pot. I’m looking at it carefully to try to replicate it. I have a lot of chives growing and I need to thin them out. This is a great idea as to how to achieve my thinning out goal. I’d like to replicate this for my daughter. I can identify most of the plants but I’m not sure about the white flower. Candy Tuff??
Love this video! Also, love me some Dusty Miller! I’m in Zone 8A and if we have our usual Winter, this plant stays alive and I can re-use it in the Spring. I have gardened for many years and still I learn from your channel and get inspired by your containers and your other garden projects.🥰. THANK YOU! 🥰 After seeing your large container, I will take some of my Coral Bells and pot them up in some containers. I will be shopping my gardens first before putting my container together. I can’t wait! Take care. 👌🪴🥰
2 Disty Miller
Thank you, Vita I’m really enjoying this series. I’m amazed at the designs you come up with plus they are beautiful and basically free. The dusty miller planter turned out so cute.
Hi Vita! The only containers that I have planted were some large blue pots with red/orange coleus. They were beautiful. I have just never planted pots with a combination of plants and I think I'll give it a try this year. Your combination will be beautiful once grown. I like your story with the pansies! Let see…do I have an area to do that? I'm going out and try to get some work done. Right now it is 46 degrees, but this afternoon the notorious winds will be attacking. 😤 Cannot do anything outside when they come through. Enjoy your day!!!
I have alot of English ivy and spider pla t and curley parsley for filler
