Skipton Gardeners Club members and friends enjoyed an illustrated tour of Jacqueline Iddon’s garden and plant nursery at Bretherton during their April meeting.
The tour included special advice on design and plant propagation.
The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, at 7.30pm in The Three Links Club, 26 Rectory Lane, BD23 1ER.
The speaker will be Jane Houlton, a local historian, discussing ‘The English Landscape Garden and it’s Legacy.’
A Parkinson’s Physical Activity and Exercise Class will be held on Monday, May 11, from 6pm to 7.30pm in the Dance Studio at Skipton Academy, Gargrave Road.
The class, delivered by Eat, Move, Be Happy, is specifically for people living with Parkinson’s who want to maintain and improve their strength, fitness, mobility, and independence.

The Skipton & District Parkinson’s Support Group Hub Club will meet on Thursday, May 14, from 2pm to 3.30pm at The Hub, Skipton Town Hall.
This informal gathering offers support, information, and socialising opportunities for people living with Parkinson’s, their family, and friends.
Hot drinks and biscuits are included for £2 per person.

St. Mary’s, in Carleton, will hold services each Sunday at 11.15am, with variations on the third, fifth, second, and fourth Sundays.
St Mary’s ‘Coffee Pot’ is open each Friday from 2pm to 4pm.
