Hello,
I’ve been growing this tree in my backyard for 8 years now, and unfortunately a large branch cracked this morning from some heavy snow.
Is this repairable in any way? I’m assuming not, but I’d love to be pleasantly surprised if it is.

I’m sorry, but this is not repairable. Not like a broken bone would be. Bones heal, wood does not.
The only thing you can do is prune out the damaged branch. Looking at this, I’m a little leery about how well the remaining part will seal over…that large of a wound, and that deep, is pretty likely to decay before the tree can grow over the wound. There are no wound dressings that will prevent decay or speed up sealing over.
Where’s the snow?
