I’ve come to the conclusion that this plant is a weed


I bought this monstera a couple of years before the pandemic. $25 at HD and it was shredded. one move and two up-pots later I finally put her in the ground. She has given me solid cuttings. One of which I have put in the ground already. Bonus pic at the end

    Many aroids are considered weeds. They can vine up houses and their roots can do damage

    It’s very invasive if you don’t control it. Do not let it attach to your house. I let mine crawl up the wall and had to saw it off and replace stucco/paint. It was beautiful 😍 but not good.

    I mean, the only difference between a weed and a flower (or a houseplant in your case) is a matter of opinion. A weed is just a plant growing where it isn’t wanted.
