



… because this is a single node middle cutting and there seems to be some (hopefully) light damage to the new shoot growing from the nodes eye (image 2-4). Should I be worried about this turning into a zombie leaf because the grow point was damaged or do you think it will continue to grow just fine? Hopefully I'm just overreacting a bit 🥲

Plants are resilient – I would expect it to be absolutely fine. My worry on node cuts, once a growth point emerges, is always root rot. If you’ve got good lighting/substrate/heat, I imagine a beautiful new leaf will emerge in no time without worry. Wishing you the best!
