I wintered this pepper plant inside and just got it in the ground this week. I was taking it outside for some sun and wind for about the last month. The first picture is from this morning, the second was 2 days ago. It has been raining and a little chilly but has stayed above 40 at night. How do I save this little fella?

It looks fantastic to me!
I think peppers like warmer weather and on top of just being put back in the ground, it’s still a bit cooler than they like. Once it warms up you’ll be miles ahead of many of us!
It’ll perk back up assuming it’s warm enough.
Funny enough I’ve heard peppers get spicier when they are thirsty, so I generally wait for my spicy pepper plants to look like this (or close) before watering.
It looks like it’s not used to the full sun yet. It needs to be hardened off.
It also needs mulch. A temporary shade cloth will probably help it adjust. And now would be a good time to put in a tomato cage/trellis/support for it to grow into. Just a lil tlc.
Combo transplant shock and cold. Just keep it watered and hope it warms up
