I wish I had another angle but there was a lot of silver hair(?) in my berries from Aldis. This is the second batch in a row that’s done it. What is it?! Can I just wash them off and eat them?
upon further research after digging them out of the trash, they don’t break easily and seem more like a hair strand. my husband isn’t going to be pleased to hear i dumped them lol

I might be wrong here but there’s a few seeds that look like hair. Is there a small seed on the base?
I just can’t imagine how fur could’ve got in there.

Likely rabbit or mouse hairs. They love blackberry patches. I would still eat them lol

Do the hairs break easily? If so, then they are little stalks from a type of mold. If not, they’re probably animal hairs.
might be worth reporting if it’s happened more than once
