Our first humanure compost pile finished looking like earth, but our second pile has been sitting for over a year, and still looks like sawdust. It reached 60º 14 days after we last filled it, and then it sat for a full year, and now it's ambient temperature again.
What does this mean? Should we use it like this? Wait longer?
I'd be very interested to hear from people who have seen this situation before.
