  1. Looks like sweetgum to me. Grew up with the all over east Texas. Indigenous used to use the sap like chewing gum, apparently, hence the nickname

    Yeah, sure, theyre really pretty until you have three in your yard and cant be barefoot as a child.

    Liquidamber AKA sweet gum tree. Growing up in Ohio we called them monkey balls.
