Side yard transformation tips for container gardening?

My side yard gets a lot of sun (south + west), so I wanted to transform it into a container gardening space. I want to grow vegetables and chilis. The distance from the fence to the wall is ~57 inches, so it's not huge, but I want to make the most of it.

I am hoping for some advice / tips around the design phase because I am not an expert.

1. Are the containers in the image a good size?

2. Should I get taller containers?

3. Are the pavers too close to the containers?

4. If this were your space, what specific things would you change to make it easier to do gardening here?
